What is LH Virtual Group?

LH Virtual Group is a virtual airline internet community. On behalf of LH Virtual Group, I would like to welcome you to a virtual airline that brings you one step closer to the simulation of the virtual reality of the German Lufthansa AG. LH Virtual Group allows you to dream of flying for LH in the place we call home - the flight simulator. LH Virtual Group uses its own Crew Intranet, we call it CrewBase. Our CrewBase offers a full flight modern Dispatch System, including weather briefing, flight planner, SimBrief, and export options.

We fly the routes of Germany's biggest airline, and their aircraft fleet - from E190 to the Airbus A380. We also offer faithful checklists to all aicraft types of the LH fleet. We take care of our pilots - no matter with what concerns!

What is a Virtual Airline (VA)?

A Virtual Airline (VA) is a member-driven group which aims to simulate the flights and operations of an airline, charter operation or flying club. Some may be based on real world companies while others are fictional. The route structure of virtual airlines may be regional, national, continental, or global.

Each VA is different in terms of how "realistic" it is in different areas: for example; ranking structure, the amount of training required to fly different aircraft types, the corporate management structure, and standard operating procedures.

How does it work?

After registration you will have an account in our CrewBase. According to your rank (depending on your virtual flight hours - more info here) you will be certified for several aicrafts. You can consult our flight booking system and find the flights you want to fly - just like you book a real flight. In addition to that, you then have the opportunity to dispatch the flight using our selfmade SimBrief-integration feature - it's fun!

You're almost there. Download and install our ACARS software, your flight booking will appear in the ACARS. You only need to choose your aircraft registration (we have 99% of them in our databse) and paste your flight route. You can start your flight tracking.

After you have arrived at your destination airport, finish your flight tracking and send the recorded data to our servers! If everything is fine, it will accepted automatically by our system, and furthermore, shown on your account.
